It’s 2025, and I’m coming in hot—coffee in one hand, keyboard in the other, and a fresh mindset to match.

After a year of being a little too buttoned-up for my liking, I have met someone who has reminded me to have fun because, let’s face it, we only get one go-round in this crazy life.

So, I’m back!

And I’m caffeinated and ready to help small businesses (like yours!) crush their content creation game.

This year, I’m making it my mission to focus on helping small businesses tackle one of their biggest challenges: content creation.

It doesn’t matter whether you have just started your entrepreneurial journey or you’ve been running the show for years, getting your message out there is non-negotiable.

I mean, think about it: when was the last time you purchased something without looking up the business online?

That would be…probably round about…never.

Your audience is doing the same, and the content you put out there is how they will decide if you’re the real deal and whether they want to do business with you.

Stay top-of-mind with your audience

People are literally bombarded with options online, on radio, on television.

So it just makes sense that the more consistently you show up with valuable content, the more likely they are to remember you when they’re ready to buy.

Your content is like a friendly nudge that says, “Hey, I’m here, and I’ve got something great for you.”

Content isn’t just about being seen—it’s about being found.

Let’s keep it real: creating content matters and should NOT feel like a chore.

If you love taking photos, start with Instagram.

If you’re all about storytelling, go for blogs or newsletters.

Just do what feels natural to you, and the rest will fall into place!

Mix it up!

Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.

A good content strategy has a mix of formats.

• Social Media Posts: Quick, engaging, and perfect for building relationships.
• Blogs: Great for sharing in-depth knowledge and boosting your SEO.
• Videos: Perfect for tutorials, product demos, or just showing off your personality.
• Email Newsletters: Direct communication with your audience to keep them in the loop.

Mixing up formats will keep your audience interested and coming back for more!

Always add value

The golden rule of content creation?

Make it about them, not you.

Your audience wants to know how you can solve their problems, make their lives easier, or just brighten their day.

Every piece of content you write should offer something valuable, whether it’s a tip, a laugh, or an inspiring story.

How to stay consistent

Staying consistent in putting your content out there is a major key in keeping your audience coming back to your page.

Plan ahead

Consistency is key when it comes to content creation, and the best way to stay consistent is to plan ahead.

Use a content calendar to map out what you’ll post and when.
